Playa de Sabinillas is located in the centre of San Luis de Sabinillas in the Malaga municipality of Manilva, between Puerto de la Duquesa and río Manilva. The river’s estuary marks the beginning of this beach around which apartment buildings have been built, which is a real tourist district.Dark sand and calm waters, playa de Sabinillas spans an area of about 1,700 metres in length and about 50 metres in width. It is a beach located in an urban area, very popular and accessible from the boardwalk area. However even the wild character of the vast sandy expanse is appreciated. In 2018 it received the Blue Flag.
Manilva is an Andalusian village in the region of the Costa del Sol Occidental which borders with Casares and the province of Cádiz. In addition to playa de Sabinillas, another of the best known beaches are playa de Chullera, playa de la Duquesa - El Castillo or playa de la Colonia.
