SIERRA BLANCA MOUNTAIN, MALAGA



Sierra Blanca is a mountain range of the Penibaetic System in Málaga Province, Andalusia, Spain. Its highest point is the 1,275 m high Pico del Lastonar.

The Sierra Blanca, meaning 'White Range', is named after the lack of vegetation on its slopes which leaves the pale grey limestone rock exposed.

Geography
This karstic mountain range is part of the ranges fringing the Mediterranean coastline in the Costa del Sol area. It is located between the coast and the Sierra de las Nieves in the municipal terms of Istán, Ojén, Marbella and Monda. The easiest route to reach it is from Marbella town.

The Pico de la Concha (1,270 m), meaning 'Seashell Peak', resembles a seashell seen from the west and is the second highest summit of the range. Other notable peaks are the Salto del Lobo (1,225 m), Cerro de la Zarina (1,141 m) and the Cruz de Juanar (1,178 m).

Ecologist organizations in the area have proposed that the Sierra Blanca be declared a protected area, in a similar manner as the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park located in the neighboring range.

MONCAYO BEACH, GUARDAMAR DEL SEGURA




El Moncayo is a golden sand beach of 2 kilometres large in Costa Blanca. Lots of the people consider this beach as the best beach in the region.



El Moncayo beach has few dunes and moderate waves. It´s a nice place to go with your family. You can find all the services there and it´s not as crowded as other beaches in Torrevieja or Guardamar. You can also practise several nautical sports there, such as: windsurf, surf or kitesurf.

El Moncayo beach is located between Guardamar and Torrevieja. Behind this nice beach there is a great lagoon of La Mata. El Moncayo is the nearest beach to Ciudad Quesada, you can get there in only 5-10 minutes by car following the street CV-895.



This beautiful natural beach has been awarded with the blue flag. It means that it`s a clean beach with good accessibility, security and has all the services.

Guardamar del Segura

The town of Guardamar del Segura with a population of just over 11,000 has historically played the role of guardian of the river Segura.

COSTABELLA, MARBELLA



Playa de Costa Bella is located in the municipality of Marbella. Alongside El Alicate and Pinomar, is a beach area about two kilometres long.

The occupancy is high, and due to its location there are many tourists who see it as a good alternative for relaxing in the sun during their vacation. Golden sand and moderate waves, la playa de Costa Bella is one of the smallest and narrowest in the area.
Access by car is quite fast, and there is also the possibility of arriving by intercity bus. The only thing to keep in mind is that the stop is more than one kilometre away.
